Deadline for Jackie

Jackies deadline is today, my blog is finished and has a few more posts than needed, it has been a good couple of months, as i enjoyed this lesson a lot.

Deadline Extended

The normal deadline was for yesterday, monday 22nd but Julian has given us another week to complete the task, We needed this to finish our production files and we now will complete our work before the deadline.

Branding



Example of a Brand.



A Brand is a specific type of product, It may take form of a sign, name, symbol or combination of colours. A Brand allows you to recognise the product with ease, It gives the product a better view all round, maybe increasing business or tourism. A legally protected product is called a trademark such as Adidas, Nike or Coca-Cola.

Most brands are known through a picture or a jingle which you remember easily, it helps the customers understand the product they are buying is associated to that certain brand, making them want the product more.



Illustrator Work

Julian has given us the lesson to create a toolbar from scratch using all the tools in illustrate, this was work set by Ross last week and I have just completed it this morning.

Group Work - Final Stages

The project deadline is closing in as we have less than a week to finish our projects, the website is complete with the video on it. The production files are nearly done aswell so we are nearly finished. I think we have done a very basic website so we should only get a pass but atleast its not a fail. With Nick out of our group we were down to three, I still think we did ok though, im looking forward to see what grade Julian gives us.

Vector & Bitmaps

Bitmap Image

Bitmap Images are made up of tiny dots called pixels which all up make up the image. Therefore if you make a Bitmap Image bigger you will just make the dots bigger aswell losing the quality of the image. Bitmaps are larger files, due to the fact they are made of dots.

Difference Between Bitmap and Vector

Vector

Vector images are made up of different individual objects, these are made up of mathematical equations, so you never lose any quality, rather than being madee of pixels, Vector graphics are made up of points, lines, and curves which, when combined, can be much more complex.

Lesson for Group Work

Jacky has given us a lesson to do the task Julian has set for us, We have constructed a website its basic at the moment, just all the pages are linked up. The website lacks features, colours, and general information which I hope to change the more our group adds on to it. We have lost a member of our group, Nick has left the course for some reason that we dont know, We are down to 3 and were down to 2 when Alex was ill so me and zac had to start off the website on our own, we did a good job and have a skeliton website finished.
